What is big screen shorts?

Big Screen Shorts is the first nationally-distributed short film series in many years. Screened quarterly, each 90-minute showcase is curated from top short films which have played festivals around the globe.

Each showcase is approximately 90 minutes, inclusive of the opening and closing sequences. Each show contains between 7-10 films in an assortment of genres and styles — dramas, documentaries, animation, comedies and others — carefully programmed to play with one another, and create a single viewing experience.

Are the films for all ages?

What is the rating?

The films and showcase are unrated. Films are not appropriate for small children (under 13), and we recommend that anyone under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult. Some films contain strong language or graphic violence.
